The New Testament applies Tabernacle language and imagery from the Hebrew Bible to the Body of Christ, the Habitation of God’s Holy Spirit . Terms from the Tabernacle and the worship rituals of  Leviticus  are applied in the New Testament to the New Covenant community inaugurated by Jesus Christ. What the Tabernacle prefigured has become reality in the Church, which is “ the habitation of God in Spirit .”

Le Nouveau Testament applique le langage et l'imagerie du Tabernacle de la Bible hébraïque au Corps du Christ, l'Habitation du Saint-Esprit de Dieu . Les termes du Tabernacle et des rituels d'adoration du  Lévitique  sont appliqués dans le Nouveau Testament à la communauté de la Nouvelle Alliance inaugurée par Jésus-Christ. Ce que le Tabernacle préfigurait est devenu réalité dans l'Église, qui est “ l'habitation de Dieu en Esprit .”

Jésus est le véritable et unique moyen d'accès au Père, au Plus Grand Tabernacle et à la Maison de Dieu  - Jean 1: 47-50. L'Évangile de Jean  présente Jésus comme  la Vraie Maison de Dieu . Il est la voie d'accès à la présence de Dieu qui est maintenant ouverte à tous les hommes. L'homme de Nazareth est devenu le Véritable  Béthel , la “ Maison de Dieu .” Désormais, le Ciel est ouvert à tous les hommes, et les anges “ montent et descendent ” sur le “ Fils de l'Homme .” Ce que Jacob a vu dans une vision il y a longtemps est devenu réalité en Jésus-Christ.

Jesus is the Word made flesh, the Greater Tabernacle where the glory of God is manifested and resides forevermore  – John 1:14. The Prologue of John’s Gospel presents key themes of the Book, most critically, that Jesus is “ the Word that became flesh .” Life and light are found in Christ. He is the true and final “ Tabernacle ” where the presence of God permanently dwells. In this flesh and blood human being, the glory of God is manifested for all men and women to see.

Jesus is the High Priest of the greater heavenly sanctuary made without hands that prefigured the Tabernacle in the wilderness . Jesus is the High Priest who serves in the “ True Tabernacle pitched by the Lord and not man ” and foreshadowed by the religious structures and rituals of Ancient Israel.  The Son of God has become our “ priest forever ” who ministers for us “ at the right hand of the Throne of the Majesty in the Heavens ” – (Hebrews 8:1-2).

Jesús es el Sumo Sacerdote del santuario mayor "hecho sin manos" prefigurado por el Antiguo Tabernáculo . Jesús es el Sumo Sacerdote que sirve en el “ Verdadero Tabernáculo erigido por el Señor y no por el hombre ” y presagiado por las estructuras religiosas y los rituales del Antiguo Israel. El Hijo de Dios se ha convertido en nuestro “ sacerdote para siempre ” que ministra por nosotros “ a la diestra del Trono de la Majestad en los Cielos ” – (Hebreos 8:1-2).

Jésus est le Souverain Sacrificateur du plus grand sanctuaire “fait sans mains” préfiguré par l'Ancien Tabernacle . Jésus est le Souverain Sacrificateur qui sert dans le “ Vrai Tabernacle dressé par le Seigneur et non par l'homme ” et préfiguré par les structures religieuses et les rituels de l'Ancien Israël. Le Fils de Dieu est devenu notre “ prêtre pour toujours ” qui exerce son ministère pour nous “ à la droite du Trône de la Majesté dans les Cieux ” - (Hébreux 8: 1-2).

Depuis que la Parole est devenue chair, la Gloire Divine a été manifestée en Jésus de Nazareth et tous ceux qui le suivent la voient - Jean 1:14. Jésus est le  Logos  dans  l'Évangile de Jean , le “ Verbe fait chair ” en qui réside “ la Gloire de Dieu ”. Il est le Véritable Tabernacle préfiguré par la Tente portée par Israël dans le désert où la Gloire de Yahweh s'est manifestée de manière impressionnante mais limitée. Le Messie Crucifié est la manifestation véritable et complète de la Gloire du Dieu Vivant.

Since the Word became flesh, the Divine Glory has been manifested in Jesus of Nazareth and all who follow him behold it – John 1:14. Jesus is the  Logos  in the  Gospel of John , the “ Word become flesh ” in whom the “ Glory of God ” resides. He is the True Tabernacle foreshadowed by the Tent carried by Israel in the wilderness where the Glory of Yahweh was manifested in impressive but limited ways. The Crucified Messiah is the true and full manifestation of the Glory of the Living God.

In the Gospel of John , Jesus is the Logos , the “ Word become flesh ” in whom the “ Glory of God ” resides. He is the Greater Tabernacle foreshadowed by the Tent carried by Israel in the wilderness, the place where the Glory of Yahweh was seen. John’s declaration anticipates his later passages that link him to the Father. Thus, the man who gave his life for all humanity on the Cross is the true and full manifestation of the Glory of the Living God who created all things.

In John’s Gospel, Jesus is the true Tabernacle where the presence and glory of God dwell. Unlike the ancient structure with its inner sanctuary that only the high priest could enter, and only once each year on the Day of Atonement, His glory is manifested in Jesus Christ for all men to see forevermore. No longer is His presence limited by physical walls, geographic boundaries, or the calendar. In the Nazarene, the Father and Creator of all things is worshipped anywhere and anytime, only now “ in spirit and truth .”

Jesus is the High Priest who serves in the “ True Tent pitched by the Lord and not man ,” the Greater Tabernacle and place of worship foreshadowed by the religious structures and rituals of Israel. The Son of God has become our “ priest forever ” who ministers for us “ at the right hand of the Throne of the Majesty in the Heavens ” – (Hebrews 8:1-2).

Jesus is the true and only way of access to the Father, the Greater Tabernacle, and the House of God  – John 1:47-50. The  Gospel of John  presents Jesus as the  True House of God . He is the way of access to the presence of God that is now open to all men. The man from Nazareth has become the True  Bethel , the “ House of God .” From now on, Heaven is open to all men, and angels are “ ascending and descending ” on the “ Son of Man .” What Jacob saw in a vision long ago has become reality in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Greater Tabernacle in whom the presence and glory of God reside and manifest for all men to see – John 1:14. The  Gospel of John  presents Jesus as the place where the glory of God is revealed, the Greater and Final Tabernacle in which His presence dwells permanently. With the advent of Jesus Christ, the worship of men desired by the Father is no longer limited to man-made structures, geographic locations, or the annual calendar and seasons – (Genesis 1:14-18, Galatians 4:8-10).
